This elegant Windsor corner cabinet offers maximum functionality. Fitting perfectly into the corner of your room, this cabinet is the perfect use of space. Two glass shelves are visible through the glass door and these combined with the internal down light make this the ideal space to display glassware and crockery. The storage cupboard contains one adjustable storage shelf, offering additional hidden storage space. The ground glass oval on the display door mirrors the recessed shapes on the ash wooden door handle beneath, indicative of the attention to detail and skilled craftsmanship for which ercol is well known.
This Windsor corner cabinet will be finished in your choice from a variety of lacquer colours that both protects the timber, whilst enabling you to choose the look to match your style and decor.
Like all tall furniture, this corner cabinet should be fixed to the wall for stability. Fixtures and fittings are provided for this.
The Windsor dining collection is archetypal ercol and has been in production in various guises since the late 1950's. Created by ercol's founder Lucian Ercolani, Windsor cabinets have become design classics.
Made using traditional craft techniques and modern machining these cabinets have the beauty of displayed dovetail joints and iconic oval wooden handles.
Lucian Ercolani, the founder of Ercol in 1920, set out to develop and enhance the range of Windsor chairs that he designed in the 1950s into a complete and coherent range of furniture for the home. He took the very simple aesthetic and the use of solid timbers into dining tables and chairs and a huge range of cabinets. The "Old Man" as he was fondly known in the company was inspired to make this range accessible to all, functional and unpretentious. The design with its clean and modern lines, marked a significant change from the heavy, dark and ornate furniture of earlier periods.
Tremendous craftsmanship is apparent throughout this simple, yet wonderfully elegant furniture. Our craftsmen work in our 160,000 square feet factory purpose built by us in Princes Risborough in 2002. The furniture is created by the marriage of inspired design work, the hand skills of the craftsman and the latest technology of computer driven machines.
Over the years, the Windsor range has developed and been through many evolutions in order to keep up with what people need in their home. The timeless design looks as contemporary now as it did when it was first produced, suiting both modern and traditional interiors.
