Turbular steel dining chair with great seating comfort
Skovby SM53 dining chair with a design in tubular steel that dates back to the Bauhaus school of the mid-twenties. The construction of the Skovby SM53 dining chair frame gives a slightly bouncy movement when you sit on it. This is the first cantilever dining chair made by Skovby and seat and back are identical with the SM58 dining chair. Therefore the Skovby SM53 dining chair has the same seating comfort. The tubular frame is made from stainless, brushed steel.

Wearability and stability
The Skovby chairs are ergonomically designed to offer the best possible comfort and comply with the most stringent international regulations. All our chair designs are regularly tested at The Danish Furnituremakers Quality Control, where among other rigorous tests they are subjected to 50,000 tilting pressures. Our chairs are therefore categorized to be within the highist quality level for dining room chairs.

Fabrics and Leather

The Skovby SM53 dining chair is available in 50 different fabrics and leather colours or with customers own material.
We only sell extremely hard wearing covers that comply with the most stringent quality standards.
