These terms and conditions govern your use of our website. By placing an order, you agree to abide by the terms and conditions outlined here. It's important to note that all terms and conditions mentioned here comply with Distance Selling Regulations and do not impact your statutory rights.

  • "You" designates the individual engaging in the purchase of products from this platform.
  • "Our/We" designates the retailer/company responsible for vending products on this platform.
  • "Items" denote the products available for sale or delivery via this platform.
  • "Made to order" refers to customised products or goods not currently stocked by the Seller. We are unable to accept cancellations or accept any extra cost that may incur due to wrong information provided by you at the time you placed the order for made to order items.
  • "Delivery" signifies the conveyance of ordered goods to your designated address within the stipulated timeframe. (Unless specified otherwise, products will be delivered solely to your doorstep if two-man delivery or white-glove service has not been selected and paid for.)

CONTRACT TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  • Placing an order on this website indicates your acceptance of our terms and conditions.
  • Orders can be returned and refunded within a 14-day period. However, made-to-order products are non-refundable and cannot be cancelled.
  • Upon delivery, it is your responsibility to inspect the product and sign the delivery note.
  • We will verify payment and card details with you.
  • Return requests will not be accepted if the item's packaging is discarded or if it poses a safety risk to our couriers during collection.
  • Our liability for damage during delivery is limited to repair, replacement, or refund of the damaged item's value, whichever is most cost-effective for us.
  • Please inspect flat-packed items before assembly, as assembly attempts void our Returns Policy.
  • Clearance items are not eligible for replacement.
  • Clearance products are priced lower than regular items due to limited availability and potential quality variations.
  • Clearance stock items are only eligible for return if they are faulty or damaged upon delivery; no replacements or exchanges are offered.
  • Customers may receive a full refund or a discount for keeping faulty or damaged clearance stock items, provided they contact us within 14 days of delivery.
  • We reserve the right to amend or update these policies without prior notice.

PRICE & PAYMENT

  • The price listed on our website includes VAT (Value Added Tax). The prices are subject to change in accordance with market prices, sales and other factors. Products added to the cart and not purchased before the price change will also be subject to this change.
  • Standard one-man delivery to the customer's doorstep, up to the initial entry point of the property, is provided free of charge, except for specific postcodes in Ireland and Northern Ireland. If you require two-man delivery to a specific room, there is an additional fee of £19.99. Please note that the two-man delivery service is available only in England & Wales.
  • Opting for our WHITE GLOVE DELIVERY service, which includes item assembly, incurs a charge of 20% of the order value. To be eligible for white glove delivery, your order must exceed £600 and include selected brands.
  • Product prices are applicable exclusively to online purchases made through this website and during seasonal sales. They do not pply to products showcased in our showroom.
  • Special sales or discounted prices offered on our web store during promotional events are valid until midnight on the expiration date of the offer.
  • Marble Tables, Ceramic Tables, and Extending Glass Tables will be delivered only to the ground floor.

DELIVERY


Deliveries on Business Days

We offer complimentary delivery services using both our vehicles and third-party couriers for all destinations within England and Wales.

Upon dispatch, you'll receive an email notification specifying the delivery date and estimated arrival time of your product. If you anticipate being unavailable to receive the delivery, kindly inform us via email or directly notify the delivery service in advance. This allows us to reschedule your delivery for a more suitable time.

Please note that the advertised delivery days on our website pertain to business days, excluding weekends and bank holidays. However, the advertised weeks may include weekends and public holidays.

The delivery time frame indicated on the website, typically ranging from 4 to 10 working days, means that if an order is placed on the 1st of the month and the quoted delivery time is 4-10 days, the order should be expected to arrive by the 12th of that month.

For more remote locations such as postcodes PH, KW, PA, and all Scottish Islands, please anticipate an additional 7 to 14 days for delivery.

Please note that we do not deliver to Remote Scotland, Northern Ireland, Ireland, or any Offshore Islands, including the following postcodes: BT, GY, HS, IM, IV, JE, PO (30-41), and ZE.

We regret to inform you that White Glove Delivery options are unavailable for the following postcodes: AB, CA, DD, DG, EH, EX, FK, G, KA, KY, LA, ML, PA, PH, PL, TA, TD, TQ, TR.

A failed delivery will incur a charge of £40 for re-delivery.

Please be aware that opting for White Glove Delivery will necessitate an additional 7-8 Business Days for delivery and assembly of the item.

For ready-assembled wardrobes, please note that we do not accept returns if the wardrobe does not fit into your property. Kindly ensure that you measure your property before placing an order for ready-assembled wardrobes.


Fast Shipping/ Next-Day Delivery

Fast shipping, also referred to as next-day delivery, is an option offered for products weighing less than 30 kilograms. Items marked for fast shipping are dispatched directly from our suppliers to your address via a third-party courier service. You can read more about our next-day delivery policy here.


VOUCHER CODE

Coupon codes cannot be used on items marked as 'SALE ITEMS' and 'Lowest Price' tagged products.

Please be aware that when utilising finance options such as V12 Finance, PayPal Credit and Clear Pay for payment, discount vouchers cannot be applied.

All prices displayed are accurate. In very rare instances, human error may result in an incorrect price being displayed. We take every precaution to prevent such occurrences. However, if you suspect that the displayed price seems unrealistic and may be a mistake, please notify us immediately.

If you believe a price may be incorrect, please contact us to verify before proceeding with your online order. Please note that we cannot honour orders if they are placed at an incorrect price due to human error.


DELIVERY PROTOCOLS

(a)Our furniture is transported in large vans and lorries, and you need to ensure there's safe and adequate access for these vehicles. If drivers deem the access unsafe or inaccessible, they may decline delivery.

(b)You'll receive advance notification of your delivery date and time. If you can't be present at the delivery address, please notify us or the delivery company via email. We'll reschedule your delivery for the next available slot in your area and arrange it for that day.

(c) CFS shall not be held liable for any loss or damage arising from unforeseen circumstances beyond our control, including severe weather conditions, vehicle breakdowns, motorway congestion, missed or failed deliveries, or rescheduled delivery times.

(d)It is your responsibility to ensure that the designated room for furniture assembly is either vacant or has adequate space for product assembly. We are not accountable for dismantling or disposing of your old furniture.

(e)Ground floor only deliveries will be delivered to the street-level ground floor of the property only with no steps leading up to the property. Please contact us before placing an order for further information.

(f)Before opting for White Glove Delivery or Room of choice delivery, you must ensure that your apartment or room can be accessed by lift if it is above the ground floor. Please note that we won't be able to transport your item to your home or room of choice if it is above the ground floor and can only be accessed by stairs.

Kindly be aware: You are responsible for ensuring passage clearance or sufficient space for your preferred option.

For deliveries to the Mainland and Scotland (excluding remote postcodes), a delivery fee of £29.99 applies, regardless of your order value.

Please note that we do not provide delivery services to the Channel Islands, Shetland, Isles of Wight, Isles of Scilly, and Orkney Islands. Nevertheless, we can deliver to the nearest port, after which the customer must arrange onward delivery. For further details, please don't hesitate to contact us.


TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR V12 RETAIL FINANCE

  • 0% APR is only available for orders over £670 for a period of up to 12 months.
  • You can spread the cost with our V12 Retail Finance. Simply make regular monthly payments for a fixed amount over a set time so you always know where you stand. Subject to status. Minimum spend applies.
  • Declined Credit Applications: If your credit application is declined, you will receive a notification via email from our credit partner, V12 Retail Finance, with further instructions on how to dispute the decision.

Eligibility Criteria for Credit

  • Is 18 or older
  • Is in permanent paid employment, self-employed, homemaker, retired and receiving a pension, working student in part-time work or in receipt of a disability benefit
  • Has been a resident in the UK for at least 3 years
  • Has a debit or credit card in their name, which is registered to their address, to pay the deposit where applicable
  • Has a Bank or Building Society current account available – this is required to complete the direct debit instruction
  • Has an email address to receive the important information throughout the application process, including their signed credit agreement

  • How much can I borrow?
    You can borrow up to £15,000. The minimum priced item with credit available is £670.
  • Is a deposit required?
    Yes, a minimum 25% deposit will need to be paid upon acceptance.
  • How are my monthly payments made?
    All monthly payments are paid by direct debit from your personal bank account. Typically, the first payment will be due one month after the date of delivery; subsequent monthly payments will be due every month for the length of your term on that day of the month.
  • About our lenders?
    Finance is subject to status. From time to time, we may vary the terms of our finance offer at our discretion. To be eligible to apply for finance, you must be 18 or older, in regular employment and have been a UK resident for more than 3 years. Other conditions may apply, and we cannot guarantee that your application will be accepted. We reserve the right to withdraw finance on certain products at any time. Finance as a payment method is provided through our external partner, V12 Retail Finance. If your application is successful, you will enter into a Credit Agreement with V12 Retail Finance.
  • How long does it take to apply online?
    Our online application form is a fast and easy process. Once complete, your application will then be instantly sent to the finance company, and they will get a response to you as soon as possible. Some applications may take longer to process. If, for any reason, we can't give you an instant decision, you will be notified on screen as part of the application process and by e-mail, with a follow-up e-mail as soon as a decision is confirmed.
  • Will the finance company perform a credit check?
    Yes. A credit check forms part of the automated decision-making process.
  • Can I pay my agreement off early?

  • Can I cancel my credit agreement if I change my mind?
    You have the right under section 66A of the Consumer Credit Act 1974 to withdraw from the agreement without giving any reason before the end of 14 days (beginning with the day after the day on which the agreement is made or, if later, the date on which we will tell you that we have signed the agreement). If you wish to withdraw, you must give the finance company notice in writing or by telephone or by email. The name of your finance company will be clearly shown on your credit agreement (see contact details below). Please note that if you do give notice of withdrawal, you must repay the full amount of the credit without delay and in any event by no later than 30 days after giving notice of withdrawal.
  • How do I ask a question about the credit agreement?
    If you have a question, require further information, or if there is anything you do not understand regarding the credit agreement, please call V12 Retail Finance on 029 2046 8900 or seek free, independent advice from organisations such as the Citizens Advice Bureau (CAB) or the Money Advice Service.

DEPOSIT INFORMATION


OPTIONS:

When shopping at CFS, you have the flexibility to pay a 50% deposit initially and settle the remaining balance once your items are in stock and ready for delivery. This option is particularly beneficial for items with longer lead times. However, paying the full amount upfront is also an available choice.

For purchasing furniture at CFS, you can conveniently use your credit card, debit card, or opt for a bank transfer into our account. Your payment will encompass the product cost at the time of order, along with any additional services selected during checkout.

We've partnered with PayPal to ensure secure transactions. Payments processed through our Payment Partner & Merchant Banker are guaranteed to be 100% secure.

Should you decide to make a subsequent purchase or add extra items to an existing order, you'll need to follow our payment procedure once again.


PROCESS:

When making a payment with your credit card, debit card, or bank account, it's crucial to ensure that all the information provided during purchase, such as your Name, Billing Address, Shipping Address (if different), Telephone Numbers, and Email Address, is accurate. Additionally, you confirm that you have the rightful ownership and authority over the payment method you're using for the transaction.

Should further validation be necessary to authenticate the payment card, we may request additional evidence to confirm your ownership and authority over the credit/debit card used for the purchase. This measure safeguards against unauthorised card usage. Please note that this procedure does not impede your legal rights.

Our contractual agreement will be established only after completing the validation of your payment and card particulars.
