Upholstered Bedroom Benches

The fabric bedroom benches are the most comfy ones. They've got padding under the fabric for added comfort. The frame is usually wood or metal underneath all that padding. Some have loads of cushioning; others just enough to stop them from being rock-hard.

You can get them in basically any fabric you can think of - velvet if you're feeling posh, linen if you want something a bit more casual, leather if you've got kids who'll spill stuff on it. Many of them feature fancy details like buttons tufting or nail head trims.

Most have legs that stick out at the bottom - wood ones for traditional looks, metal for modern. Makes them easier to hoover under, which is always a bonus.

Non-Padded Bedroom Benches

While these benches may seem basic in appearance, sometimes that's exactly what you want. No padding, just wood or metal. These benches also tend to be cheaper than the padded ones, and they work really well in bedrooms with a Scandinavian theme.

Not as comfy for actually sitting on, but brilliant for throwing clothes on or displaying stuff.

Ottoman Bedroom Benches with Storage

While these might look like normal padded benches, the top actually lifts up to reveal storage space. A great choice for small bedrooms where you're short on cupboard space.

Great for stuffing spare bedding, out-of-season clothes, or anything else you need regularly but don't want on display. Most have those slow-close hinges now, so they don't slam shut and trap your fingers, which was always the problem with the old ones.

Just like the normal upholstered benches, they come in loads of fabrics and styles. Some are plain, others have all the fancy trim and buttons.

Velvet Bedroom Benches

Velvet has made a massive comeback in the last few years. Proper luxury feel to it, and the colors look really rich because of how the fabric catches the light. Modern velvet fabric is also tougher and easier to maintain, which has made it more popular.

Leather Bedroom Benches

Leather benches cost more, but they last for a long time because of leather’s durable nature. The good ones actually look better after they've been used a bit and developed some patina. And if you spill something, you just wipe it clean - no panicking like with fabric.

Wooden Bedroom Benches

Wooden benches are the workhorses. No nonsense, they just sit there looking good for years with minimal fuss. Pine ones are cheaper but a bit soft - they dent more easily. Oak costs more, but it's basically indestructible.

Some are really plain, with clean lines, and others have carved bits or that distressed finish that makes them look like they've been rescued from a French farmhouse. Depends on whether you want something that blends in or stands out.

Most can take a fair bit of abuse, which makes them good for family homes where things get knocked about a bit. Just give them a quick polish now and then, and they'll be fine.

Need somewhere to put your clothes away? Our chests range from little three-drawer units that fit in awkward corners to massive seven-drawer chests of drawers to store all your essentials.

Dressing Tables

For those who like a proper sit-down spot to do their makeup or hair. Some come with mirrors and stools included. We have everything from minimalist to full-on glam, with lights around the mirror.

Wardrobes

Complete the set with somewhere to hang and organise your stuff. Single wardrobes if you're short on space, massive three-door jobs with mirrors, shelves and drawers if you have the room. Sliding doors are good for small rooms where you can't have doors that open outward.

Delivery Info

We'll bring your bench (or other furniture) anywhere on the UK mainland. Standard delivery is free and takes 7-10 working days.

Need it tomorrow? We also offer Free Next-day delivery on select products. Products with this delivery option arrive within 1 working day.

Returns

Changed your mind? Notify us within 30 days of the delivery, and we will take the item back for you. A return fee of £60 will be deducted from your refund.

If an item arrives damaged or faulty, notify us within 14 days, and we shall pick and refund your purchase at no additional cost.

Putting It Together

Most bedroom benches just need the legs to be attached. Instructions come in the box and don’t require any additional tools apart from the Allen key provided with it.
