FURNITURE CARE
Glass furniture care guide
Dust glass first, then use a soft lint-free cloth and suitable glass cleaner. Keep liquid away from joins, use coasters and protect edges from impact and temperature shock.
Everyday care
Dust first, then clean with a soft lint-free cloth and a glass cleaner suitable for furniture. Apply cleaner to the cloth rather than flooding edges or joints.
Spills and stains
Wipe spills promptly and dry the surface to reduce streaks and mineral marks.
Protecting the surface
Use coasters and mats, lift objects instead of dragging them and protect all edges from impact.
What to avoid
Do not use abrasive pads, gritty cloths or metal scrapers. Avoid placing very hot or very cold items directly on the glass.
Material characteristics
Fine scratches and edge chips can be permanent. Toughened, laminated and decorative glass may have different care restrictions.
Additional care
Always follow any manufacturer-specific instructions supplied with the product where they differ from this general guidance. If in doubt, stop and seek advice from the manufacturer or a suitable furniture-care specialist.
