Care for sheesham with a soft dry cloth and remove spills immediately with a well-wrung cloth. Dry at once and protect it from heat, standing moisture and scratching.
Dust with a soft, dry cloth. For routine cleaning, use a well-wrung damp cloth, then dry the surface immediately in the direction of the grain.
Blot spills promptly rather than rubbing. Remove standing moisture at once, especially around joins, edges and unsealed areas.
Use coasters, placemats and heat-resistant mats. Fit felt pads beneath accessories and allow air to circulate around the furniture.
Avoid soaking, steam cleaning, abrasive pads, silicone spray polish and harsh household chemicals. Do not place hot or wet items directly on the surface.
Sheesham is valued for varied grain and tone; natural markings and gradual colour change are expected.
Always follow any manufacturer-specific instructions supplied with the product where they differ from this general guidance. If in doubt, stop and seek advice from the manufacturer or a suitable furniture-care specialist.
