Dust walnut with a soft cloth, wipe spills promptly and dry after cleaning. Protect the surface with coasters and felt pads and keep it away from harsh cleaners, direct heat and strong sunlight.
Dust with a soft, dry cloth. For routine cleaning, use a well-wrung damp cloth, then dry the surface immediately in the direction of the grain.
Blot spills promptly rather than rubbing. Remove standing moisture at once, especially around joins, edges and unsealed areas.
Use coasters, placemats and heat-resistant mats. Fit felt pads beneath accessories and allow air to circulate around the furniture.
Avoid soaking, steam cleaning, abrasive pads, silicone spray polish and harsh household chemicals. Do not place hot or wet items directly on the surface.
Walnut naturally varies in grain and tone and may lighten or mellow over time.
Always follow any manufacturer-specific instructions supplied with the product where they differ from this general guidance. If in doubt, stop and seek advice from the manufacturer or a suitable furniture-care specialist.
