This generous oval dining table is hand-crafted from reclaimed teak wood in Indonesia, and its characterful imperfections betray clues to its former life as columns and framework in old Indonesian homes.Known for being stronger than new teak, recycled teak is incredibly weatherproof and will naturally turn from beautiful brown to silvery over time. Its rustic, textured finished only adds to its character, while its trestle-style legs have black plastic feet to stop it sitting in water after rain. This lovely table has room for eight people to sit around it on any combination of benches and chairs, so pair with our Hawthorne Outdoor Bench and/or Hawthorne Outdoor Dining Chairs and get ready for guests.Designed for indoor and outdoor use. Assembly required (instructions included) Black plastic feet on legs to prevent sitting in water. 20cm wide slats and there are gaps between the table top to allow for expansion. Handmade in Indonesia from reclaimed Teak wood, therefore each piece will be unique. Natural finish, unvarnished and textured, teak has a strong weather resistance and the colour will turn more silvery over time. For regular care, clean the product from the dust with a soft cloth/brush. Mop up any spills immediately and do not let water stand on this product. For thorough cleaning in case of mold and stain, use damp cloth with natural soap and wipe in the direction of the grain. Timber taken from framework, columns or pillars in Indonesian old homes, so traces of the wood's past life may be visible - holes showing traces of nails, or a past wood joint.
