It's been beautifully handcrafted in Indonesia from reclaimed teak wood once used to build Indonesian homes, and signs of its former life show up in the minor imperfections that make each one unique and characterful.Reclaimed teak is renowned for being stronger than new teak, and it's very weatherproof, making it a great piece for the patio. Its natural shade of brown will turn silvery over time, adding to the visual appeal of its rustic, textured finish. Discreet black plastic feet stop the legs soaking up water after rain. Natural finish, unvarnished and textured, teak has a strong weather resistance and the colour will turn more silvery over time. For regular care, clean the product from the dust with a soft cloth/brush. Mop up any spills immidiately and do not let water stand on this product. For thorough cleaning in cases of mold and stain, use damp cloth with natural soap and wipe in the direction of the grain. Timber taken from framework, columns or pillars in Indonesian old homes, so traces of the wood's past life may be visible - holes showing traces of nails, or a past wood joint. Small gaps between table top planks to allow for expansion due to weather so can be used indoors or outdoors under cover. Max weight 250kgs.
